First understanding why you behave the way you do and then learning how to show up in your life authentically and genuinely are fundamental to any sustained, meaningful change. Using an eclectic trauma-informed approach, I feel that my role as a therapist is to treat the foundational issues causing you pain in the present whether that be from substance abuse, anxiety, depression, or PTSD. Modalities I incorporate to help us explore and address patterns of behavior are attachment theory, psychodynamic principles, EMDR, parts work, and CBT all within a client-centered approach. When working together, you as the client are the driver of your own therapy and I am merely a passenger coming alongside you to provide direction, Psychoeducation, and a safe, affirming, reliable space in which to do the work of healing.
