My therapeutic approach is warm, direct, strength-based, and creative as we work through both past and present conflicts to achieve lasting change. I like to assess what your needs are and then pull from different therapeutic modalities to ensure that we can work together to try to meet those needs. I am a culturally-sensitive clinician, who emphasizes working transparently and collaboratively with clients of all backgrounds and orientations. I am a life-long learner whose practice is grounded in the belief that we all have the capacity to learn, grow, and heal. I specialize in working with folks who are experiencing anxiety, depression, peer and family relationship issues, grief or loss, and life transitions, not only due to my education and career background but also my own lived experiences. Artists, academics, and both youth and adult individuals adjusting to the demands of adulthood often find their way to my practice.
