Shauna believes that therapy is a powerful tool for healing and growth. She is committed to building a safe and open space that allows all people to show up fully and authentically. Guided by genuine curiosity, compassion, direct feedback, and a desire to uplift individuals’ inherent strengths, she is a fierce champion of both clients and colleagues. Her therapeutic focuses include addressing barriers to sex and intimacy, processing significant trauma, managing anxiety, and supporting life transitions. Shauna works with adults (18+) and holds certifications in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
For the last fifteen years, she has guided disaster response efforts, worked with new immigrants and refugees, and collaborated with a wide range of stakeholders to create meaningful social impact. Her career has taken her across the globe, having lived in Ghana, Turkey, Israel, Nepal, Washington, DC, and New York, before returning to her beautiful home state of Colorado. Shauna holds a Master of Social Work from Columbia University, a Master’s in Migration Studies from Tel Aviv University, and a Bachelor’s Degree from American University.
